The Inland Empire Chapter of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) is an organization expressly for the individual PSA members residing in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. The Inland Empire Chapter takes part in the Chapter Showcase of PSA; sponsors the local competition for the PSA Youth Showcase for high school-aged students, sending prints from each high school photography teacher to the national competition in April annually; meets annually in October and sponsors the well-known spring photography seminar in Spokane.

Some of the Inland Empire Chapter members belong to area camera clubs including those in the Spokane area, named below.

Spokane Camera Club

Founded in 1932, the Spokane Camera Club is an active club with over one hundred members. The club sponsors the Photography Division of the Spokane Interstate Fair each year; has twice-monthly photo competitions with critiques; runs photography workshops and Photoshop training, and more. Spokane Camera Club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, September through April, at East Central Community Center, located at S. 500 Stone, near 5th and Altamont. Photoshop training is on the second Wednesday's at SFCC building 11. All meetings start at 7pm.

 

Spokane Valley Camera Club

The purpose of the Spokane Valley Camera Club  (SVCC) is to aid and benefit by mutual cooperation those interested in photography, in the Inland Empire, for purposes which will promote greater interest, knowledge and the practice of photography. It was established in June 1950 and is a member-club of the Photographic Society of America,  The Columbia Council of Camera Clubs and  the Spokane Valley Arts Council.

SVCC meets in Liberty Lake 2nd and 3rd Mondays September through April at 7 pm at the Liberty Lake Sewer and Water Bldg. Visitors welcome. The club also has workshops and field trips and annually shows members images in various venues.
